New dates available: Apply now for the continuing education course on Machine Learning and AI in June

Further education offers open up perspectives and development opportunities even and especially in times of crisis.

“Precisely because our offer meets the actual needs of companies in the border region and thus directly addresses the challenges of the time, we see a great benefit for the participants,” explains Romina Junk from the Centre for Academic Continuing Education at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, under whose direction the offer was developed.

With this claim the KTUR partners have jointly developed their first cross-border continuing education course: The application oriented Machine Learning course will be offered in june 2022 (8-10 and 22-24). The English-language training course consists of an introductory and an advanced course. These can be booked independently of each other:

June 8-10: The introductory course teaches application-oriented topics of machine learning and artificial intelligence. The theoretical basics are applied to real data with practical exercises. Python, Scikit-learn and Kaggle will be used.

June 22-24: The advanced course aims to develop an understanding of Deep Learning and data visualization. Theoretical knowledge of neural network components and architectures will be applied to real data in a hands-on manner using supervised and unsupervised approaches. Python and Tensorflow will be used.

The courses are currently planned as attendance events. Should it not be possible to hold a classroom event due to the framework conditions set by the Corona pandemic, the offer will be implemented digitally. Renowned lecturers from the partners of the KTUR project guarantee scientifically sound and practice-oriented training through their extensive and sound experience in the field of machine learning.
