KTUR project ends – successful balance after three-year funding period

First cross-border continuing education courses held in June: “a fantastic opportunity”

In June, two independently bookable Machine Learning advanced training courses developed within the framework of KTUR were successfully held. The participants of the English-language courses in Karlsruhe (introductory course) and Strasbourg (advanced course) gained insights into application-oriented topics of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Successful completion of the CE Interreg project CEUP 2030: A joint innovation system for policy making on Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing

The KIT Institute of Automation and Applied Informatics (IAI) successfully completes the CE Interreg project CEUP 2030 at the end of April 2022. The project focussed on promoting the joint networking of the research community with decision makers and Industry within the topics of advanced manufacturing and industry4.0. best-practice examples, flagship projects together with a number of strategy documents will support the involved triple-helix stakeholders in implementing current topics such as artificial intelligence or automation in their respective working environments.

Review of the Innovation Day: A cross-border meeting place for innovators in the Upper Rhine region

On April 12, 2022, close to 1,200 entrepreneurs, researchers, start-ups and students from France, Germany and Switzerland came together for the Innovation Day Upper Rhine in the historical setting of the Palais Universitaire in Strasbourg, while around 200 joined online. With inspiring plenaries and roundtables and a lot of networking opportunities, the event has set the stage to become a major annual meeting place for innovators in the border triangle.

New dates available: Apply now for the continuing education course on Machine Learning and AI in June

Further education offers open up perspectives and development opportunities even and especially in times of crisis. With this in mind,the KTUR partners have jointly developed their first cross-border continuing education course: The application-oriented Machine Learning course is offered in June 2022 (June 8-10 / June 22-24, 2022). The English-language training course consists of an introductory and an advanced course, which can also be booked independently.
