From Aug. 30 to Sept. 3, around 30 students and PhDs from 8 KTUR partner universities and 12 different nationalities came together in Freiburg, Basel and Strasbourg for the KTUR Summer School on Entrepreneurship to get a compact insight into how to turn an idea into a business – an inspiring experience for all parties involved!
Led by the question: “How can we improve knowledge and tech transfer activities in the Upper Rhine valley, to bridge academic discoveries and needs from the industry?”, the KTUR team has worked closely together on building a digital platform for Knowledge and Technology Transfer in the Upper Rhine region.
SPARK 2021 has been an exciting journey for the 13 student teams and their mentors! In the end, all teams pitched their impressive results in front of a panel of judges, who had the tough task to choose winners for the three categories: Sustainability, Scalability and Social Impact .
