Campus Technologies Freiburg GmbH (CTFT), a subsidiary of the University Hospital and the University of Freiburg, offers a wide range of services for researchers, founders, companies and investors. It covers the entire process chain from consulting, evaluation, IP protection, “finished research” (prototype development or proof of concept presentation) to technology brokerage and out-licensing. The main focus of activities is on the competence fields of pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology, microsystems technology, materials research and related technologies.
In the Sustainability Center Freiburg, interdisciplinary teams from the University of Freiburg and the Freiburg Fraunhofer Institutes work together with industry to develop marketable technologies and innovations in the fields of “Sustainable Materials”, “Energy Systems”, “Resilience Engineering” and “Ecological and Societal Transformation”.
The DIGIHUB Südbaden is a contact point that supports small and medium-sized enterprises from the region of Südbaden in the challenges of digital transformation. Supported by a regional consortium and integrated in a large network, it offers companies concrete and tangible help in questions of digitalisation. The DIGIHUB Südbaden is a hub that connects and brings together various companies, service providers, consultants, start-ups, institutions, intermediaries, associations, etc. from the region’s digital ecosystem.
