First trinational continuing education offer: Explore the world of Machine Learning!

Within the framework of the work package “Scientific Continuing Education” under the leadership of Romina Junk, the first cross-border continuing education course “Machine Learning” can start in spring next year.

Based on the current needs of companies in the Upper Rhine region, the content focus was placed on “Machine Learning“.

The teaching of this first cross-border continuing education program will be led by

  • Prof. Dr. Manfred Strohmann (Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences) and
  • Dr. Thomas Lampert (Université de Strasbourg).

The online continuing education course is divided into a beginner and an advanced course and can also be booked separately. The teaching language is English. The special feature is that all theoretical content is immediately implemented through practical application.

Participants benefit from the rare opportunity to discuss course content with fellow learners from 3 different countries. In this context, a form of intercultural communication is also practiced – incidentally, so to speak.

“We are very proud that after months of preparation and planning, we can now announce the first offerings,” says Romina Junk from the Institute for Scientific Continuing Education at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (UAS Karlsruhe). “The interdisciplinary and cross-border cooperation in designing the course offering was certainly a challenge, but has – I believe – produced a really attractive offering.”
