On 29 September 2026, the Digital Supply Chain research group will offer insights into its work on the logistics of tomorrow at Campus Gengenbach, as part of the Zukunft.Lab.Schwarzwald visit series organized by Hochschule Offenburg and IHK Südlicher Oberrhein.
How can supply and value chains become more transparent, more efficient and more resilient? The Digital Supply Chain research group will provide the answers during the next LabVisit. The research group designs, develops, tests and transfers digital, AI- and IoT-based solutions for production, logistics and sustainable value chains. Its aim is to make processes more robust and resilient, and to support companies in the digital transformation of their logistical and operational workflows.
The research centres on the intelligent networking of physical processes with business information systems, digital platforms and data-driven decision-making. During the visit, participants will learn on site how innovative technologies help to master the challenges of modern supply and value chains and to actively shape the logistics of tomorrow. Afterwards, there will be time for personal exchange with the researchers.
