Trinational KTUR² Summer School on Entrepreneurship

The Trinational KTUR Summer School offers practical insights into entrepreneurship over one week. Key business questions are explored: defining a business model, generating revenue, securing funding, attracting customers, assessing entrepreneurial fit, writing a business plan, and motivating employees.

Open to students from the Upper Rhine Region, the program brings together participants from the University of Strasbourg, the University of Freiburg, and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Through interactive lectures by professors and founders, and interdisciplinary teamwork, students apply tools directly to real business ideas.

Target group

Open to students of all levels in the Upper Rhine region and internationally, particularly those with little background in business.
Designed for anyone interested in entrepreneurship no prior business idea required.
Limited to 40 participants.

Timeframe

24–28 August 2026.
Mon/Tue: University of Strasbourg (France)
Wed/Thu: FHNW Campus Basel (Switzerland)
Fri: University of Freiburg (Germany)

Goals

Participants will:
Understand and assess business models
Reflect on their entrepreneurial potential
Explore customer acquisition and revenue strategies
Develop and test business ideas
Gain awareness of key legal aspects
Present ideas convincingly

Application

Submit your CV and a short motivation statement by 30 June 2026. Places are limited.
Applicants will be informed by early July 2026 (earlier for students from outside the Upper Rhine region).

Credits

The Summer School awards 2 ECTS. Full participation is required.
Please check with your home university for credit recognition.
