On January 29, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the event will take place at the IBMS and focus on biomechanics in work, health, and sport.
The IBMS quantifies performance capacity and mechanical loads of the musculoskeletal system in everyday life and sports, and investigates human movement in all its complexity.
Research topics at the IBMS range from fall prevention and optimized joint loading to the improvement of human–technology interaction. In the field of sports, the focus lies on performance enhancement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
In addition, the IBMS develops innovative methods for motion analysis outside the laboratory and applies functional statistics and large datasets to generate valuable insights for both research and practical applications.
Register via the IHK website and get to know the IBMS in more detail!
